Job DescriptionMSK Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Cancer Care Center will provide a dynamic outpatient setting for leading edge cancer treatments. MSK Cancer Care re-designs the way in which cancer care is provided, with an emphasis on innovation, continuous data-driven improvement, and an optimized patient experience. We are currently seeking an Infusion Nurse to join our new team. We are:

Providers of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Oncology patients and families living with cancer in a healing and innovative environment

You will:

Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model

Handle a select caseload of patients both Adults and Pediatrics receiving infusions on an outpatient basis.

Administer chemotherapy , biotherapy, blood products, and other medications.

Act as part of a multidisciplinary team provides continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.

Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs to ensure efficient care throughout the healthcare continuum.

Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education, and symptom management.

Participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting.

You need:

New Jersey State RN license and BSN

1.5 years of related chemotherapy experience preferred

Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred

Medical Oncology experience strongly preferred

Pediatric Infusion experience strongly preferred

Hours: 4x10 hour days (7:00 am to 8:30 pm flex hours) with float to NJ regional sites as needed
