Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, a stunning Resort based in Hunter Valley are currently seeking a Junior Sous Chef on a Full-Time basis. Key Responsibilities Include:Prepare and present quality, timely meals.Work alongside and supervise kitchen team members. Perform and delegate key duties of other positions within the kitchen brigade.Ensure all food being served by the Kitchen is of a high quality & portion sizes as per the standard recipe cards for each dish.Ensure all menu items are available throughout the entire trading day.Maintain stock control through recording & monitoring wastage, accurate periodical stocktakes, effective ordering/receiving and storage procedures in accordance with the site’s Food Safety Plan.Investigate, explain & report on any financial or stock discrepancies.Receive all goods in adherence with food safety standards.Ensure that all back of house areas and equipment are maintained in a clean, hygienic and safe condition.Perform any other duties as requested by Executive Chef/Chef in Charge. Expected Hours: Full Time, 38 Hours Location: Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, 15 Thompsons Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320Salary: $73,347.50Approved Sponsor: Minor Hotels Australasia Limited (previously known as Oaks Hotels & Resorts Limited)
