Truck Shop Manager

Hi.

Double R Truck Center is looking for an experienced Shop Manager with strong knowledge in Class 8 trucks, diagnostics, workflow management, and supervising mechanics. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day shop operations, assign work orders, manage inventory/parts, maintain safety standards, and ensure timely, high-quality repairs.

Requirements:

Experience managing a diesel or heavy-duty repair shop

Hands-on knowledge of Class 8 trucks (Freightliner, Kenworth, Volvo, Peterbilt, etc.)

Ability to manage technicians, schedules, and workflow

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable, responsible, and able to work full shop hours
