JOB SUMMARY

In this position you plan and coordinate the ongoing support and maintenance of Alpha and Boston Analytical IT infrastructure. Demonstrates strong subject matter knowledge pertaining to both IT capabilities and functional business processes. In this role you are responsible for understanding overall goals and objectives of the business and assisting in the identification and delivery of technical and business process solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for design, planning, implementation and operations/support of IT Systems solutions.

5+ years of experience with system integration in a multi-platform environment

Active Directory – Advanced knowledge supporting Domains administration, GPO Management, DFS, Remote App, RD Web Access and Window Server builds.

Develop and implement security hardening best practices (i.e NIST, PCI)

Provide and monitor back-up and recovery processes (i.e. Veeam, AWS Storage Gateway)

Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning (i.e. Nagios, Veeam One)

Data center management best practices, rack installation, power, cooling, monitoring

Develop and maintain application support documentation (SOP’s) and implement system failure recovery procedures

Evaluate and recommend new technologies, ensure and maintain systems compliance to stated IT policies.

Citrix XenAPP/VDI/Netscaler(ADC) experience is desirable

Familiarity with RHEL server environment including server builds, configuration, hardening, patching and upgrades

Network switch configuration/monitoring experience including firewall management is a plus

Awareness with VMWare management concepts.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with a minimum of 5+ years of relatable experience working with IT Infrastructure.

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience with system integration in a multi-platform environment

Must have the ability and skill to perform the detailed job requirements noted above competently, safely and proficiently.

A self-starter, motivated person who possesses good interpersonal skills capable of effectively interacting with all departments and client personnel.

A team player with the ability to seek direction or act independently as the situation demands.

Must be a team player with integrity and concern for the quality of Company products, services and staff members.
