Associate Producer, Dateline (contract)

NBC News is seeking an Associate Producer to assist in all aspects of production of long form content.PLEASE NOTE: This is a short term position with an estimated duration of 24 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. Responsibilities:Contribute to production of original content for air, including story developmentAid in extensive editorial researchConduct pre-interviews and on-camera interviewsParticipate in shooting, factchecking and editing, as directedProduce short web-extras, as needed, under the direction of the Senior ProducerCoordinate with technical, operations staff and external resourcesSignificant travel for booking, productions and to attend trials
