Job Description

The analyst will be responsible for providing business critical analysis for the Americas FP&A Team, including, but not limited to, client profitability.

The Regional FP&A team oversees the monthly close, budgets and forecasts for the entire Americas region. They help manage and forecast $2B+ worth of revenue in the Americas. They work with service lines across several countries and partner effectively with various functions throughout dentsu.

This role will report directly to the Regional FP&A Manager and will be part of the Regional FP&A Team.

To be successful in the role, a strong enthusiasm and a desire to learn and apply out of the box thinking in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment is required. The analyst will foster collaboration and openness of ideas and knowledge sharing.

  • Assist with managing regional Client Profitability submissions and consolidation process
    • Track and follow up on Profitability submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
    • Maintain SQL database, which houses Profitability data and analyses
    • Create and distribute analysis to show client profitability results as needed
  • Perform quarterly variance analysis for key profitability metrics, and partner with each business unit to go over drivers and action plans for Client Profitability improvement
  • Deliver profitability data to Client Leads and communicate drivers of margin improvement/declines
  • Assist in preparing analysis used in the regional client review decks and meetings
  • Collaborate within regional FP&A team to review and analyze service line monthly close results and quarterly forecasts and, assist in producing financial management packages
  • Deliver quarterly/ad-hoc financial information and analysis
  • Various ad-hoc projects dealing with sales and forecasting accuracy
  • Help learn and create automation and bots to drive efficiencies in the FP&A group

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of FP&A or financial analyst experience, media industry preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP/BPC or Hyperion
  • Knowledge of SQL/Macros is preferred
  • Team Oriented as this role collaborates with several functions at dentsu (finance, sales, operations, IT)
