New Hampshire, Jerseycity 00000 Jerseycity USAPosition Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor's Degree Travel Percentage : 10 - 15%Job DescriptionAbout the role:The Product Manager will work primarily within the FIS Securities Processing Group, and across the Product Management, Product Development, SQA, Client Services, Sales & Marketing teams and the FIS Clients to detail business requirements and specifications needed to implement enhancements to the FIS back-office solution. The Product Manager will promote the product and vision as defined by the FIS and Product Management leadership. This position will be key to delivering and maintaining leading-edge broker-dealer products and services. This position will also focus on understanding the technologies that can be leveraged to enhance the product and address the business, regulatory and industry requirements.What you will be doing: Interact with Customers, Product Development, Sales and Marketing to identify new opportunities for product enhancements.Participate in customer calls/market visits to understand market requirements, monitor new product introductions and to identify opportunities.Work alongside the Development teams to set development priorities, define requirements, contribute to testing, and manage products through initial launch and subsequent releases.Develop and implement a product roadmap, product plans, including cost analysis and ROIs.Contribute to the development of business plans, forecasting, pricing and positioning of the new product offerings.Interact with Marketing on competitive analysis.Participate in Industry committees, sub-committees and working groups, as needed.Support the Sales and Marketing teams by providing product collaterals and product presentations and sales tools.Provide internal and external training for new products and features.Lead user groups and working groups composed of clients and FIS personnel to provide information on product and industry initiatives.What you bring: To promote product and vision as defined by the Securities Processing Group & Product Management team leadership.Provide Product Development with business requirements for development projects, including scope definition and designWork closely with Product Development throughout software development life cycle to ensure success of development initiativesAssist Product Development with creation of use cases and test scripts for development projects.Collaborate with other Product Managers for cross-functional product enhancements, including regulatory and industry initiatives.Work closely with Sales and Relationship Management to build customer relationships, gain knowledge of prospects, and provide product expertise.Work closely with other FIS business units to provide updates on product roadmap and enhancements, including regulatory and industry initiatives.This is an advanced professional role with broad understanding of their area of expertise. Resolves complex issues requiring in-depth knowledge and skills. Exercises judgment in decision making, determines approach, methods and procedures to use on new assignments. May coordinate and guide the work of others.FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $142,370.00 - $239,190.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
