Garage Attendant

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Performs preventative checks including but not limited to checking oil, antifreeze, lights, transmission fluid, and tire pressure.Properly mounting, dismounting, and installing tires; inflating tires.Washes, polishes, and performs other detailing work both interior and exterior.Charts, tracks, fuels and parks vehicles accordingly.Must drive heavy automotive equipment and operate power equipment, including but not limited to payloader and forklift, and perform towing and recovering services, as needed, with proper training,Primarily responsible for cleanliness of Transportation Area (includes shop, parking and fueling areas) including but not limited to removing garbage and cardboard, draining waste oil tanks daily, cleaning floors, and other general maintenance duties.Performs other similar or less skilled work, as assigned.Assists employees of a higher classification, as assigned.
