ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: This position includes responsibilities in both leveraging and delivering quality, high-level, consulting services to clients for the Guidehouse Clinical Solutions Practice. Organizations across the health industry are seeking holistic solutions that transform every essential function in the delivery of care and other services. Guidehouse helps organizations transform their clinical operating model with virtual, digital, and automated technology, and advanced data analytics, to facilitate effective and efficient care delivery across the continuum. Our person-centered approach engages and integrates clinical and operational workstreams that touch all aspects of the care continuum. Specific responsibilities include: Deliver industry expertise and management consulting services in support of client engagements across large providers (hospitals, health systems, AMCs, large physician groups, clinics, outpatient facilities, etc.)
Lead transformational change in the clinical and care management workstream in large healthcare systems
Clearly articulates financial results of multiple projects and speaks about process and sub-process measures for more than one area
Establishes account management relationships with key client decision makers
Identifies key industry issues in clinical care, throughput and LOS and develops a practice response
Provides delivery assurance support for engagements with targeted clients
Mentors Guidehouse staff on clinical, care management, throughput and LOS assignments within the account delivering services
Provides visible leadership within the account and the practice.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications: 5 plus years (minimum) of recent experience working within in a large healthcare provider setting focused on care management, LOS, throughput, clinical operations and beyond, much of which is at the management
2 plus delivering programs in a consulting environment; driving complex, multi-faceted, multi-site, application/operational change/clinical improvement programs
Nursing or other clinical degree from accredited college; graduate degree preferred
Excellent financial and quantitative acumen and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading complex projects to minimally timeline and scope
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%
Preferred Qualifications:
Care Management and Utilization Management experience with payers preferred but not required
Flexible, positive, clear interpersonal and communication skills with ability to facilitate the exchange of information at all levels internally, as well as with a provider based, client departments, including, but not limited to, surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, hospital executives, and other professional and ancillary staff
Ability to develop and monitor performance metrics at all levels of operations
5 + years rigorous project/program management leadership of complex provider deliverables with majority of those years in larger provider systems
Adroit use of methodology and leadership within the project management setting
Knowledge of and familiarity with IT solutions and tech-enabled solutions which are integral to enabling efficiency and appropriate to quality and throughput of care
Capacity to adapt and lead others to understand and accept values, strategies, goals and plans in response to changing business conditions
