Incumbents perform a wide range of patient care related functions to include patient assessment, care coordination, direct patient care when given assignment by appropriate reporting protocol; health/safety management, and other duties as assigned. This position requires a high level of independence. Candidate must be reliable, have excellent communication skills and able to apply critical thinking, assessment, intervention, and evaluation skills and be able to make quick but accurate medical decisions. LPN must be able to work under pressure, adjust to change and work well as part of a health care team.
