TRUSS BUILDERS

You will be building Trusses for roofing purposes! Carefully measuring, cutting, and assembling wood pieces, typically 2x4s or 2x6s, to create a triangular or other structural frame.

Must Have:

26–28 oz hammer

Steel-toe shoes

Measuring tape

Ability to read instructions in English

Good communication skills

Can follow directions and work as part of a team

Key Responsibilities Include:

Assemble wood roof and floor trusses according to production drawings, blueprints, and work orders

Measure, cut, and position lumber components accurately

Install metal connector plates using presses, rollers, or hammers

Inspect trusses for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
