Registered Dental Hygienist

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. We are a private office with dedicated and caring staff, looking for a hard working, enthusiastic, positive and energetic team member. Full Time or Part Time available. Our Office is open Monday through Thursday 8-4 and every other Friday 8-1.

Duties include and not limited to:

- Dental hygiene procedures such as prophies, Periomaintenances, debridement, scaling and root planning, polishing, flossing, applying fluoride treatments, laser treatment, etc

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining oral health

- Conduct thorough dental assessments and screenings to identify any oral health issues or concerns

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records regarding patient hygiene treatment and recommendations

- Break down and set ops for dental hygiene procedures (a dental Assistant can some days be available to help)

- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile dental environment

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques

Qualifications:

- Valid NV state dental hygiene license

- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program

- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including taking x-rays

- Experience with dental office software systems such as Dentrix or Genesis

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

- Knowledge of OSHAA Guidelines

- Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy

- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for infection control
