Combining elevated cuisine with the unique atmosphere of a luxury golf environment, Cliff House serves resort guests, golfers, members, tournament participants, and VIP patrons seeking personalized and attentive service.This role serves as the primary point of contact throughout the guest experience, providing expert menu guidance, refined service execution, and genuine hospitality. The Food Server is expected to anticipate guest needs, build meaningful guest connections, and deliver service that reflects Wynn’s Forbes Five-Star standards while embodying the welcoming and sophisticated culture of Wynn Golf Club. Key Responsibilities  Guest Experience & Service DeliveryProvide attentive, personalized service to guests throughout all phases of the dining experienceAnticipate guest needs and preferences to create a seamless and memorable experienceMaintain a polished, professional presence consistent with Wynn’s luxury hospitality standardsBuild rapport with resort guests, golfers, members, and VIP patrons to encourage guest loyalty and repeat visitsCreate a welcoming atmosphere that complements both the refined dining experience and golf club settingEnsure every guest interaction reflects Wynn’s commitment to exceptional service  Order Taking & Menu ExpertiseDemonstrate extensive knowledge of food, wine, cocktail, and beverage offeringsAccurately take and enter food and beverage orders, including modifications, allergies, and dietary restrictionsProvide informed recommendations based on guest preferences, occasions, and dining goalsClearly communicate menu descriptions, ingredients, preparations, and featured specialtiesMaintain knowledge of seasonal menu changes, golf event offerings, and specialty dining programsPromote signature menu items and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience  Food & Beverage ServiceExecute proper fine dining sequence of service while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailDeliver food and beverages according to established presentation and service standardsPerform wine, cocktail, and beverage service in accordance with luxury dining expectationsMonitor tables continuously to ensure proper pacing of courses and overall guest satisfactionCoordinate service timing to accommodate individual guests, large parties, golf outings, and special eventsEnsure all food and beverages are delivered at optimal quality and presentation  Table Maintenance & Service PrecisionMaintain clean, organized, and impeccably presented tables throughout serviceCoordinate closely with food runners and bussers to ensure seamless service executionPerform pre-bussing and table maintenance to preserve the dining environmentMonitor and maintain table settings, glassware, linens, and service detailsEnsure all presentation standards reflect the quality and atmosphere of Cliff HouseMaintain awareness of guest needs while ensuring dining room readiness and efficiency  Guest Relations & Service RecoveryRespond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and special requestsPartner with management to execute service recovery solutions when necessaryDeliver consistent, personalized service to all guests, including VIPs, members, and tournament participantsSupport special celebrations, private events, and customized guest experiencesExercise discretion and professionalism when handling guest concerns  Coordination & Team CollaborationWork collaboratively with hosts, food runners, bussers, bartenders, culinarians, and management to ensure exceptional serviceEffectively communicate guest preferences, allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requestsParticipate in pre-shift meetings and team briefings regarding VIP guests, golf events, tournaments, and daily prioritiesSupport special functions, member events, and golf-related dining experiences as neededFoster a positive team environment focused on operational excellence and guest satisfaction  Financial & Operational ResponsibilitiesAccurately process guest checks and complete all financial transactions according to department proceduresPromote menu items, wine selections, specialty beverages, and featured offerings to drive salesSupport departmental revenue goals through thoughtful upselling and guest engagementMaintain accountability for all transactions, cash handling procedures, and payment processingComplete side work, opening duties, and closing responsibilities accurately and efficiently  Compliance & Brand StandardsAdhere to all Wynn grooming, appearance, and uniform standardsFollow all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulationsUphold Forbes Five-Star service standards and Wynn’s luxury hospitality expectationsExecute all responsibilities in accordance with company policies and departmental proceduresAct as an ambassador of Wynn Las Vegas, Cliff House, and Wynn Golf Club by demonstrating a commitment to luxury hospitality and exceptional guest service
