RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Data Center Operations in Las Vegas, Nevada (NV).

Responsibilities include: A Data Center Operations completes periodic inspections of assigned data centers to ensure policies are being upheld Responsible for floor space allocations and related rack and rack peripheral infrastructure build out to accommodate hardware installations and moves The Data Center Operations is responsible for generating and communicating Data Center metrics Responsible for management of data center operations owned inventory A Data Center Operations communicates provisions of data center policies and standards to the corporation and facilitates customer understanding of processes and procedures Plans and coordinates with various cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure present and future capacity/scalability The Data Center Operations supports data center infrastructure by installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware in order to accommodate Act as first level support to data center owned hardware A Data Center Operations performs data gathering and analysis and provides basic summary reporting in support of information technology projects Assists more senior analysts and IT management in evaluating implemented solutions and practices for continuous improvements The Data Center Operations performs a variety of tasks in support of the data centers and must be able to work in a goal setting environment Maintains up-to-date knowledge of information systems technology A Data Center Operations works with users, cross-functional technical staffs, all levels of management to translate requirements to develop processes and procedures Works with other operations and system management personnel to ensure accuracy and timeliness of production and non-production activities The Data Center Operations provides support for data backups and specific software products and tools deployed within data center

REQUIREMENTS: Previous data center experience in a live production data center Experience in DCIM tools are critical, NLYTE, CAD, and Visio Ability to prioritize workflow
