Job: Estimator –Heavy Civil/ Underground

Key Responsibilities:

Review project specifications, plans and geotechnical reports, attend pre-bid meetings, and determine site conditions through a site visit.

Solicit subcontractors and material suppliers, including potential requirements for subcontractors.

Prepare estimates by performing take-offs, setting up estimate files, and building activities & logic in estimating software.

Requirements:

Experience in the Heavy Civil industry within Clark County

estimating experience using software such as HCSS, Heavy Bid. Excel Microsoft Projects

A positive attitude and ability to work effectively with others.

Auto Cad and Excel

Salary based upon knowledge and experience.
