About Jax: Jax Fish House has served fresh, sustainable seafood to the masses in the ‘Coast-less Communities’ we serve. Our greatest desire is to share the best, freshest, most delicious seafood with deserving, landlocked diners. Jax is a neighborhood seafood bar with a wild vibe of rocks popping, drinks shaking, pots and pans clattering from the counter bar, and laughter a happening. Our service staff are the curators of our guests’ impression at Jax, responsible for dispensing hospitality, knowledge and guiding our guests through the dining experience. Must be detail oriented and well versed in proper steps of service and etiquette, in addition to possessing excellent communication skills and thriving in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Selfless hospitality is paramount to providing a remarkable guest experience and creating a positive environment throughout the restaurant. Candidates should be experts food and wine service, be eager to learn, cool under pressure and adaptable. Here’s the Skinny:

Full-availability: nights & weekends

2 Years Experience

Sommelier and/or Cicerone Certification a plus!

Team Service Tip Pool Model (we share tips among all hourly employees!)

Estimated hourly wage $20-$25 per hour (with opportunity to earn more!)

Paid Time Off
