ICD Freight Owner Operator Program Explained:

ICD Freight operates primarily in the Midwest and expands out to KS, IA, NE, MO, ND, SD, OK, TX, MN, WI, MI, IL, IN, OH, PA, NJ, MD, GA. We operate off of 80-85% customer contract freight rates, meaning the aggregate economy may affect many owner operators, but not if you are partnered with us. Our rates are locked in at contracted freight rates.

We run dry van, with some flatbed exceptions

We pay our owner operator partners 72% of linehaul, and we operate as a full-disclosure company. No guessing what you’re getting paid—you can ask to see the rate confirmation at any time, and your dispatcher will provide detailed breakdowns via email when you accept loads.

Additionally, we offer 100% fuel surcharge based on weekly fluctuations in the Department of Energy's national Diesel average. This means you receive a percentage of linehaul plus your fuel surcharge rate on all loaded miles.

For example, for 2000 loaded miles, you’d receive about $1,000 in fuel surcharge alone!

No Hidden Fees—No Nickeling and Diming!

We do not charge our owner operators any admin, dispatch, or trailer fees. You’ll be equipped with electronic logging equipment, and all we ask is a refundable $500 deposit for the electronic logging device and dash cam. Plus, we build a $1,500 escrow security account with you at $200/week, which you can use for maintenance, tires, and other incidentals.

Safety and Bonuses

Safety is a priority! You can earn up to $500 per quarter and $2,000 per year in safety bonuses!

Physical Damage Insurance: Based on the value of your truck (e.g., an $80,000 truck costs around $350/month)
