Safety Manager

Working closely with plant supervisors, human resources, and corporate leadership, will develop and maintain a comprehensive Safety and Environmental Compliance program. You will be responsible for reducing plant accidents, overseeing the standardization of safety practices, and managing corrective action.This job is in Northern Iowa, about an hour from Waterloo IA. Relocation assistance is available.Perform or coordinate job hazard analyses/job safety analyses for manufacturing operations. Develop an employee training program focused on safety. Implement accident prevention and injury prevention processes and procedures. Maintain a comprehensive safety program, appropriate for a manufacturing plant, including emergency preparedness. Participate in safety audits. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. Maintain employee injury records.
