Medical Assistant - Omaha, NE

Adecco Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Medical Assistant to join our client's team in Omaha, Nebraska 68134!Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hourEducation and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required.

A minimum of 1-year work experience as a Medical Assistant.

6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired.

Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.) required.

BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.

Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Required Skills/Abilities :

Must possess a high degree of emotional intelligence and integrity, driven and focused work ethic.

Self-starter with the ability to think creatively and work effectively.

Ability to work effectively with various seniorities and diverse populations including staff, providers, members, family members, insurance carriers, vendors, and market leadership.

Strong communicator that is customer-oriented.

Excellent critical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to analyze situations, determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects.

Experience with claims/quality reports and analytical software packages.

Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail, and presentation software.

Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings.
