Diesel Service Tech - Days

T & T Transport is seeking a Diesel Service Tech - Days. 7 am to 7 pm. 12-hour shifts, 70 hours per week. Must be at least 21. Oilfield experience required. Excellent pay; OT over 40 hours. Must be able to pass pre-employment and criminal background checks, pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Non-smoking environment. Good work ethic a must: punctual, reliable, energetic. Interpersonal skills are necessary, as we interact with people from all walks of life. ><>

Skills required:

 General knowledge of tractor/trailer components

 Ability to remove and replace major external components (no internal engine components)

 Rudimentary knowledge of electrical wiring, brakes, tires, suspension components

 Inspect/test drive truck after repair/maintenance work complete (CDL required)

 Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner

 General fabrication/welding repairs a plus

Qualifications:

 Class A CDL

 Previous diesel experience helpful

 Able to pass DOT pre-employment drug & alcohol screen

 At least 21 years of age

 Ability to manage workload

 Strong work ethic

General Job Description: Basically, we are looking for a high-level parts changer, not a certified diesel mechanic; major engine repairs are not done in-house.
