Carpenter Apprenticeship Program

Compensation: $29.50 - $33.00 DOE + Per Diem and Paid Drive Time + Employer paid benefits including family medical, dental and vision

Martel Construction, Inc. will be evaluating candidates to enroll in Martel’s state affiliated, registered carpenter apprenticeship program. The program seeks to provide participants with instruction and experience in all branches of construction through a combination of on-the-job training, mentorship, and related course work. Upon completion of the program participants will have the demonstrated skills, abilities, and competencies of a fully proficient craftsman and will have attained the level of journeyman carpenter.

Our firm, founded in 1960, provides construction services from offices in Bozeman, Bigfork, and Missoula, MT. We are capable and seek to self-perform significant elements of most of our projects. A 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art millwork shop in Missoula supports the entire company.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, desire to achieve and aptitude for learning. Experience with custom trim, concrete, or framing are desired but not necessary as we will consider all levels of experience. Additional Requirements:

Highschool Graduate

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and tools.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Good physical condition and endurance.
