Resort Maintenance Person

Campground maintenance includes maintaining the campground on a daily basis. General knowledge in the areas of electrical, landscaping, small engine repair, waterworks, painting, carpentry and an overall “hand” is preferred. Applicant must be able to life at least 50 pounds and be in good overall physical condition. Hours of work typically range from 30-35 hours per week. Hourly wages begin at $17 per hour, including an end of year bonus!

General Maintenance Duties include: campsite cleanup, trash pickup, restroom maintenance/cleaning, painting, electrical, Water and sewer lines/pipes (pvc and pex) mowing/trimming, wood cutting, carpentry, assisting with special events, various projects as needed, both indoor and outdoor. Ability to be on call during after hours is preferred but not a requirement. Applicants that have a RV will receive a full hookup site included with employment ($9,000 value),

Daily duties may included:

Golf cart repair

Ability to operate a tractor/bacoe

campground mowing

Water works (water lines, pumps, faucets, filters, septic and commercial equipment)

Landscaping

wood chopping and bundling

Campground/Cafe restroom repair

Water and sewer lines

Cafe appliance repair

Painting/staining buildings/cabins.

Performing building projects and other assignments as identified by Management.
