World West Sire Services is a custom collection facility located 6 miles south of Laurel, MT. We are lucky enough to work alongside some of the finest seedstock operations in the country as well as overseas. We have a position available for a well-motivated Herdsman to form part of our sire care team and assist in all areas of the collection process. We will provide on-site training and offer a competitive hourly rate. Starting hourly rate is dependent on both experience and qualifications. Some hours are flexible depending on the time of year.

Responsibilities include:

Feeding and watering livestock

Doctoring livestock

Bedding bulls, cleaning pens

Being part of the collection team

Running equipment – skidsteer, tractor etc

Building and maintaining fence, including electric fencing

Recognizing animal health issues and characteristics

Education/Experience/Skills:

High School Diploma or higher

Cattle handling experience

Ability to lift 50lbs

Ability to stand for long periods of time and withstand a variety of temperatures

Experience of running equipment preferred
