Water Treatment Plant Operator

Be able to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of water treatment facilities and

systems. Must have some working knowledge of equipment, facilities, materials, methods, and procedures used in public water treatment plant maintenance and

operation activities; and a working knowledge of laboratory procedures and practices. Must have the ability to perform process control calculations; ability to work

safely; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments

and the public; and the ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions. Must be able to operate tools and equipment such as generators, power

tools, shovels, wrenches, detection devices, radios, phones, calculators, PC's, and other lab equipment.Shifts: Evenings, nights, and rotation

Work Days: Sunday - Saturday
