TOOL & DIE MACHINIST

```Duties```

- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment

- Perform, tool making responsiblities, including the use of lathes, mills, surface grinder, cut off saws and other mechanical operated equipment to achieve the end result.

- Assemble components and products according to specifications

- Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks

- Interpret engineering drawings and use GD&T principles

- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions

- Utilize micrometers and other precision measuring instruments

- Operate forklifts as needed

- Run production as needed.

```Requirements```

- Previous experience as an Operator or in a similar role preferred

- Proficiency in wire edm and waterjet operations, programming and other tooling functions is a plus but not required as we can train for these functions.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools effectively

- Knowledge of GD&T principles and ability to interpret engineering drawings a plus

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Familiarity with micrometers and other precision measuring instruments

- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Hours = 6:00am - 2:30 pm
