First Shift Machine Operator

Local Manufacturer searching for a machine operator to join our first shift operation.

Work duties

Performing setups on machines that requires good math and measurement skills

Running the machine while keeping product inside quality specifications

Loading material into the machine using a forklift

Stacking finished product onto pallets or into carts for the next operation

Emptying scrap material

Other duties may include general warehouse work and any tasks requested by supervisor.

Facility is not fully climate controlled.

Skills required:

- Strong mathematical skills (this will be tested at an interview)

- Ability to read a tape measure

- Prior experience working on machinery

- Ability to lift 50 lbs and be on ones feet for long periods of time
