Chief Technical Product Owner – Agile Product Management Sr. ManagerThe Sr. Manager of Technical Product will facilitate the delivery of technology solutions by leading, developing and empowering a team of Technical Product Owners for a defined group of capabilities or products. The Sr. Manager uses department objectives and metrics to manage performance, drive continuous improvement and provide guidance and feedback to product teams to ensure delivery of business value.Travel and Work Location Expectations:There is travel throughout the year expected. Approximately 5 days per quarter, which may vary depending on business requirements.Role is expected to be onsite in the HQ2 Building at least 1-2 days per week, with the remainder of the week flex.Essential Functions

Transformation Change Agent

Acts as a change agent to drive transformation and continuous improvement. Partners with scrum masters, coaches and Engineering leadership to employ a metrics-based approach to identify opportunities and optimize team performance.

Identifies and assists TPOs with implementation of strategies to achieve performance goals.

TPO Development

Leads and develops the Technical Product team, ensures that overall department objectives are achieved and business value is delivered for a defined group of technical products.

Enables and engages TPOs by managing individual and team development plans to advance skills and team maturity.

Business Case Development and Work Initiation

Collaborates with business product owners and stakeholders to initiate new business initiatives, supports the development of business program specifications and business case, works with Technology teams to estimate financial requirements.

Prime Collaborator and Impediment Remover

Collaborates across functional, operational and technology groups to ensure the right people are engaged and assists with key stakeholder negotiations.

Serves as an escalation point to mitigate issues, remove impediments and resolve conflict.

Scope of the PositionProvide quantitative data reflecting the scope and impact of the job –such as budget managed, sales/revenues, profit, clients served, adjusted scripts, etc.

Frequently interacts with internal personnel, subordinate supervisors, customers, outside customer representatives and/or functional peer group managers

Interactions normally involve matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, customers and the company, or concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or contracts

Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations

Formal Education and/or Training

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Years of Experience

8+ years relevant experience or Master’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience. Previous coding experience preferred but not necessary. Experience working in technology preferred.

Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field
