The team is responsible for analyzing data, understanding market dynamics, and utilizing various pricing and promotional strategies to enhance revenue and profitability. The team sets, maintains, and monitors prices across Advantage Solutions. The team is led by the Senior Vice President of Revenue Growth Management who reports directly into the Chief Financial Officer.Title: Senior Manager, Price Strategy and Setting, Branded ServicesLocation: Remote – Continental US or CanadaPosition Summary:The Senior Manager of Price Strategy and Setting will play a pivotal role in developing and executing on the revenue growth management strategy for the company's Branded Services segment, one of the company’s largest business segments. This position will use external and internal data and research to assess the value of service offerings, establish clear pricing strategies, and set prices. The position will report to the Vice President of Strategic Pricing of Branded Services, and will collaborate closely with teams in the Branded Services business segment to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with the company’s and business segment’s strategic and financial objectives.Key Responsibilities:Price Strategy
Inform the development of clear pricing strategies, price positioning, pricing architecture, and appropriate discounting policies in support of business objectives
Implement and drive pricing processes, governance, and strategies based on market conditions, customer feedback, competitive landscape, and company objectives
Assess the value of service offerings through external and internal data and research
Supplement external research by working with the sales and business development teams to understand customer perceptions of Advantage pricing, and competitive dynamics
Track and measure KPIs against strategic pricing and profitability goals and pricing targets
Communicate pricing strategies, price performance and price changes effectively to all relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales, business development teams, and external partners
Drive discussions with the Branded Services business segment to ensure that pricing models and strategies are integrated into offering development and business development activities that take Strategic Value into consideration
Price Setting
Collaborate with business teams to develop pricing architecture and set standard list prices based on value and market assessments and relevant business segment inputs
Facilitate discussions with internal client teams to optimize price based on value provided to the client
Enforce guidelines for standard payment terms, minimum margins, annual inflators, and rules for discounting
Define and maintain price guidance to be utilized by business development teams in quoting process
Drive the development and refinement of technical tools, like a price configurator tool, to facilitate efficient and accurate quote development
Evaluate the financial implications of price setting decisions against broader business goals
Internal and External Relationships:
Work closely with the Vice President of Strategic Pricing of Branded Services to align the development and execution of pricing strategies with broader revenue growth goals
Collaborate with broader RGM organization, especially RGM Analytics, Tools and Enablement to ensure pricing strategies are informed by accurate data and effective analysis
Partner with teams within the Branded Services business segment to ensure pricing strategies align with broader business objectives
Partner with Branded Services Finance business partner to evaluate the financial implications of pricing decisions
Required Experience and Qualifications:
5+ years in strategic pricing, revenue management, business development, or a similar role with direct pricing responsibilities
Experience with pricing in services businesses and in the CPG and retail space is preferred, but not required
Experience executing pricing processes with cross-functional partners
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership
Exceptional analytical skills to conduct value and market assessments and set pricing strategies
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (MBA) preferred

Support the Business Development VP and Senior Manager, and cross-functional partners developing client research against Sales Division’s Business-Development initiatives utilizing Company's category management resources to pull preliminary assessment data (growth, conflicts, etc.) for new business targets
Develop RFP and “Campaign” materials including:
o RFP response and cover lettero RFP pricing proposalo RFP interview meeting teasero RFP interview presentationo Creative client or customer-based themeo RFP interview creative follow up and thank you lettero Exploratory meeting presentation developmento Exploratory meeting creative follow up
Pursue and manage sales business opportunities under $1M
o Proactively identify emerging and small tier clients to fill current portfolio gapso Assess and pursue potential leads from corporate website and phone inquiries, owning the client relationship including the client interview, follow ups, and transitiono Create and present customized Company capabilities presentations to potential clients
Lead transition execution process by coordinating with CTL and divisional owners, owning weekly client touchpoint calls, and managing the overall transition timeline for newly awarded business
Work extensively with various client and customer teams to develop presentation materials for interviews, white space opportunities, and corporate requests
Support Business Development EVP, VPs, and Director with ad hoc projects and corporate requests
Work with President of Sales and EVP of Business Development to prepare quarterly board updates for the Sales division and bi-weekly New Business Performance reports
Manage CRM system for the entire sales organization, including maintaining the monthly Business Development department pipeline
o Create standard as well as ad-hoc CRM reports for business leaders (Sales, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
Develop CRM enhancements to improve/streamline current business processes across the sales division
