Landscaping - Bed and Plant-Care Specialist

Johnson County landscaping company has an immediate need for a full-time Bed and Plant-Care Specialist to assist with bed and plant maintenance. This position can be part-time if preferred.

Must have valid Driver’s License

Preferred skills:

Knowledge of basic ornamental plants and trees

Experience with grounds maintenance and use of strategies for keeping landscape beds looking their best – weed management, deadheading, seasonal pruning

Understanding of bed applications including ornamental fertilizer and bed pre-emergent

The ideal candidate would work directly with the owner to line out work and keep track of client needs. Most properties are high-end residential that require a specific level of TLC.

Some background in landscape design would be helpful. There are opportunities to install landscape plants and change beds as we see fit.

Starting salary - $22/hr
