Continental Siding is currently looking for a highly motivated individual seeking a long-term career, with the market's top home improvement company.
Job Purpose: The installer recruiter must be bilingual and will be charged with staffing and building out our contractor team. The ideal hire will effectively screen, interview, and assess candidates over the phone and coordinate those results with department managers. Ultimately, the recruiter must ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Schedule:
8-hour shift
Monday - Friday (Final Schedule, worked out with Manager)
Pay: $20.00-$22.00

Responsibilities:
Implement an overall recruiting strategy
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
Travel to other locations for recruitment and retention purposes
Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges
Source and recruit candidates by using databases and social media
Screen candidate's resumes and job applications
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within the schedule
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the Director of Human Resources
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Promote the company’s reputation as the “best place to work”
Skills:
Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress-based)
Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc.)
Ability to organize skills assessment centers (tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making skills
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE— Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS— Able to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Able to speak English and Spanish clearly and with proper grammar and diction. Able to speak effectively in group settings.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS— Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY— Able to apply common sense understanding in a variety of situations to assure customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS—Proficiency with using PC hardware (keyboard, monitor, system unit, mouse, cables) and office automation-related software (windows, MS Office applications, email, LAN printing) required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
