Environmental Driver Specialist CLDA Switchyard

In this role, the Switchyard Driver will be responsible for transporting waste and hazardous materials to and from the TSDF, 10-day and Transportation garage, in compliance with proper procedures and all applicable regulations.Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Transport waste between the TSDF, 10-day and Transportation garage using the following equipment: tractor, trailer, tanker, roll off frame, box van.  Perform warehouse related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials, and general facility duties.  Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery, routing documents or supervisor’s guidance.  Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests.  Operate a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment.  Performs various regulatory compliance and safety tasks including, but not limited to: pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle, placarding and load securement.  Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
