Solution Strategy Job Description Cerner's Health Network Data Foundations group is hiring a Product Owner to join our team! What does our team do? Great question! This innovative team does critical work that enables healthcare teams and clinicians to make more informed decisions for their patients and care. How do we do that? Our Data Ingestion service provide APIs for contributing data to the HealtheIntent platform, and components for processing that contributed data into the platform's vendor agnostic data processing models, for consumption by other services and solutions. Each data ingestion service has its own list of features aimed at meeting specific data ingestion use cases. As a Product Owner, you are an essential member of the team. You will define and prioritize user stories within an agile team's backlog to streamline execution and quality of product development. Some of your key responsibilities include developing story and feature acceptance criteria; reviewing and accepting backlog items as ready; documenting requirements, performing functional testing, and exploratory testing; tracking product functionality and performance, as required by regulatory standards, to ensure that it meets market needs; facilitating key agile ceremonies, such as the sprint review; and evaluating risks and performing hazard analysis for development activities. You will also manage ongoing communications between product and scrum teams, contribute ideas and suggestions to product component or feature roadmap, and provide input and approval to product documentation, including help notes and release files. - At least 3 years of product testing, product design, product strategy, health care information technology (HCIT) consulting or other relevant product-related work experience
- FHIR knowledge or experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 2 years of Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma work experience
- 2 years of health care information technology (HCIT) work experience
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
