YRelocation? NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a Sr. Director of Unified Endpoint Management to lead a crucial division within our Technology Workplace Tower. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing our UEM platform (Bigfix + Intune), managing diverse device ecosystems including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android, and ensuring security and compliance across all endpoints. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 15 people, including direct reports, team members, and external contractors, within a larger organization. The Sr. Director builds and leverages strong partnerships across business, technology, product leadership and vendors/partners in order to implement an operating model of innovative cost savings and optimization solutions for Marriott. This global role spans responsibilities across all regions and will be instrumental in shaping the endpoint management strategy for the entire organization.CANDIDATE PROFILERequired:
Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent combination of experience, education, and certification
10+ years of technology leadership experience with a blend of deep technical knowledge and a customer-focused mindset including:
6+ years managing direct reports and Service Provider teams
5+ years experience delivering large-scale endpoint management technology solutions
Extensive experience with UEM platforms, preferably including Bigfix, Intune, Workspace One or similar
Experience in managing global teams and initiatives
Experience working with remote and offshore development teams
Strong understanding of various operating systems (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android)
Experience with endpoint security and compliance in enterprise environments
Proven track record in managing large-scale device management projects
Demonstrated ability in design thinking and understanding user journeys
Proven track record in utilizing data and analytics to drive decision making
Strong innovation skills and ability to adapt to rapidly changing technological landscapes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in managing global teams and initiatives
Knowledge of compliance requirements in technology environments
Functional knowledge of SAFe/Agile framework
Functional knowledge of Product Management
Preferred:
Graduate Degree in Information Technology, Management or related discipline
5+ years experience leading and engaging highly technical architecture, engineering and operations teams
5+ years of hands on technical experience in digital infrastructure and/or development teams
Demonstrated ability to manage a large, diverse portfolio of technologies and projects, while balancing short-term goals and long-term vision
Comfortable applying a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to define success
Expert problem solver that is to be able to solve challenges across people, process and technology
Ability to build strong relationships and network throughout the broader IT community
Experience in the security, implementation and operational support of mission critical products
Strong influencing skills and an ability to overcome barriers while driving change
Experience in researching emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products
Experience in developing technology roadmaps and strategies

This role reports directly to the Vice President and is part of the leadership team of the Technical Workplace Products tower
The position plays a key role in the company's global digital transformation initiatives
Change management skills are crucial for driving adoption of new technologies and practices
The successful candidate will be expected to balance innovation with compliance and security needs
Performance will be measured on factors such as successful technology adoption rates, user satisfaction, system performance, and efficiency of operations
Travel may be required to support global initiatives and collaborate with international teams
CORE WORK ACTIVITIESTechnical Leadership and Delivery
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the UEM platform
Consolidate technologies to manage a migration to a single UEM platform
Manage diverse device ecosystems including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android
Develop and implement policies for device lifecycle management
Lead image management for various operating systems
Implement and maintain security policies across all managed devices
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Manage a team of approximately 15 people, including direct reports, team members, and external contractors
Apply product management principles to UEM solutions
Utilize SAFe and Agile methodologies in project execution and team management
Drive strategic decisions regarding UEM platform evolution and integration
Oversee hardware refresh cycles and OS upgrade strategies
Collaborate with security teams to address endpoint-related threats and vulnerabilities
Establish and manage relationships with hardware suppliers and software vendors
Oversee budget management and maintain fiduciary responsibility
Drive innovation in endpoint management technologies
Aid other teams in the adoption of new technologies and innovations
Support compliance efforts by maintaining and documenting procedures and reporting systems
IT Governance
Follow all defined IT standards and processes and provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed
Lead team in adoption of agile product-based model. Defines KPIs and drives team to achieve goals.
Maintain a proper balance between business and operational risk
Provide financial input on department or project budgets, capital expenditures or other cost/resource estimates as requested
Service Provider Management
Own outcomes of the aligned Service Provider team and contractors inclusive of project delivery and operations
Make short term plans for the team to effectively utilize resources
Facilitate timely resolution of service delivery problems and minimizes the impact to clients
Managing Projects and Priorities
Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work for self and direct reports.
Provides direction and assistance to other teams regarding projects. Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to ensure completion of any projects on schedule.
Thinks creatively and practically to develop, execute and implement new plans or programs. Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the quality of the teams’ operations.

The salary range for this position is $134,700 to $255,930 annually.
