Shipping Clerk

Broad Function and Purpose of Position:   3rd Shift To perform clerical duties for the shipping department to include data entry, inventory transactions and reporting, cycle count reporting and analysis and maintenance of shipping documents.Specific Responsibilities:Create transfer orders per customers’ requirements.Schedule standard and expedited shipments.Process material handling requests.Monitor and execute FIFO practices.Performs additional shipping responsibilities as needed.Submit ASN’s for all outbound shipments.Manage all shipping paperwork.Meet & greet drivers, direct drivers for loading.Work with material handling team to ensure orders are pulled.Assist in scheduling outbound toller deliveries.
