Outbound Team Lead

Lead a department of 10-15 in daily communication meetings and issuing each team member their daily work load. Train, motivate and lead the department to meet all daily production and safety goals, while taking direction from shift supervisor. Take on accountability for all department operations, actions and results.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and enforce Safety and Company policiesTrain and assist, order pickers, checkers and loaders as requiredAssist in development of department performance and productivity standardsHands on as needed based on workload and manpowerMaintain and update start, hourly and end of shift reports Attend all department and company meetings as requiredAssist shipping supervisor in directing workflowProvide input for employee evaluationsComplete and/or coordinate department projects as assignedMaintain good housekeepingOther duties as assigned
