We embrace a cleaner and leaner utility vision focused on eliminating energy waste and adding renewable energy from sources such as wind and solar.Location:The successful candidate will be expected to work in a hybrid status of reporting to any Consumers Energy Service Center every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with home office flexibility on Wednesday and Friday.We are looking for: Associate Project ManagerThe Associate Project Manager will support the Demand Side Management (DSM) organization. This role will be responsible for supporting many facets of this business including review/approval of projects, validating and reporting on Contract expectations, engaging with internal/external business partners, identifying and implementing waste elimination and cost optimization opportunities. Additionally, this role will be responsible for gathering and organizing data to support internal and external customers.The Associate Project Manager will assist with the technology evolution and its impact on the day-to-day business operations. Manage low complexity projects and there impact on staff and quality of products. The incumbent will produce quality results by managing personnel, creating project schedules, timelines, requirements, budgets, and maximizing efficiency of resources to ensure measurable outcomes. Partner with cross-functional teams to leverage project management tools, innovative technologies, and latest software and hardware that enhance productivity.The knowledge and skills involved with this position include but are not limited to:
Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology and lean software development
Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships
Ability to establish program goals and objectives that support the strategic plan

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, business administration, or related field with applicable experience
[OR] Associate’s degree in information technology, information systems, business administration, or related field with two (2) or more years of applicable experience
[OR] High School Diploma with four (4) or more years of applicable experience
Experience in in creating project management schedules & budgets
Preferred skills:
Experience using SAP - billing system a plus
Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Take initiative and results oriented
Strong communication and collaboration skills with both internal and external business partners
Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Time management and ability to prioritize stakeholder requests
Demonstrated ability to be agile
Experience in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
In this role, you will:
Uses standardized documents to review and approve residential projects in Tracking system (energy savings system of record) to ensure efficacy of energy savings.
Review and process sales incentives.
Track and report on Contractual expectations and whether these are being met
Tracks Purchase Order levels to ensure adequate funding to pay invoices.
Identify waste elimination and cost optimization opportunities and assist in the development of business cases.
Assist with the establishment of information technology project feasibility by examining project alignment with organization strategies and plans; completing cost-benefit and information, technology, and systems integration analyses.
Support the coordination and implementation of projects to effectively migrate staff from one project/process to another.
Assist with the development and implementation of planning for assigned projects and serve as contact for internal and external project partners to meet business requirements.
Support the management of scope, quality, timeframes, and project budget; develop and maintain feedback and evaluate information; maintain project documents and all communications.
Coordinate with quality assurance, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful conversion and completion of all assigned projects; provide on-going maintenance and troubleshooting.
Other duties as assigned or may be necessary.
