Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.Reporting into the Director of Employee Communications, this role will support our Enclosures segment and play a critical part in creating and implementing internal employee communications content that engages and connects to audiences. This role is responsible for translating organization strategies into key messages, developing appropriate internal communications initiatives in support of those strategies, and implementing programs that increase engagement, align teams, and craft our nVent culture.WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Plan and implement strategic internal communications programs that bring key messages to life through the power of storytelling through a variety of channels
Work closely with Enclosures President on segment communications
Develop internal communication materials to promote company events (both local and global) highlighting nVent’s dedication to inclusion and diversity and overall our strategic goals
Collaborate with peers across the company to address business communication needs to shape engagement initiatives and deliver communications to our teams
Work in partnership with team members to complete initiatives from concept to delivery
Collaborate with company leaders across the organization to further promote clarity and consistency across all communication platforms
Develop, post, and lead content shared across internal communication channels, including maintaining a communications activity calendar to ensure we are sharing the right information at the right time via the right channels. Channels include employee intranet (SharePoint), Internal Comms/Social Platform, and internal digital and in-person events (All Hands Meetings, etc.)
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, marketing, business or related field
5+ years of professional corporate communication experience including developing communications strategies & plans
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including prooing and editing to produce the highest quality materials
Highly motivated individual with a strong attention to detail as well as verbal communication skills, and capacity to understand information and ideas as presented
Familiarity with platforms and tools such as intranets, internal communications platforms (Teams, etc.), and Microsoft Office365
Experience with running multiple projects at once while consistently producing effective and thoughtful written content
