Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role involves wiring and building electrical systems, installing equipment, and ensuring that all systems meet safety standards and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical installations, system troubleshooting, and wiring control panels. The position also requires occasional overnight travel (approximately 10% of the time).

Key Responsibilities:

Install and wire electrical systems for industrial control panels and machinery.

Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine wiring layouts.

Assemble and wire control panels based on project specifications.

Perform electrical installations for new equipment and retrofit existing systems.

Troubleshoot electrical systems to diagnose and resolve issues on-site.

Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and UL508A standards.

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

Assist in site preparation and clean-up for electrical installations.

Travel overnight for installations and troubleshooting as needed (approximately 10%).

Qualifications:

Journeyman Electrician certification.

Proven experience with industrial wiring and electrical installations.

Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.

Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.

Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently on job sites.

Willingness to travel overnight (approximately 10% of the time).

Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
