ResponsibilitiesWhile no two days are exactly the same, here are some things you will be responsible for:

Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring

Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates

Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment

Encouraging self-help activities

Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must have a valid driver’s license

Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting

Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external

Additional Job InformationYou'll pay NO RENT at our Maplewood group home for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will recieve a $100 per month food stipend. The work schedule is overnight, Sunday-Friday, 10pm-8am (Friday until 8am). Sleeping hours are 10pm-6am. Waking hours are 6am-8am, when you will be helping with caregiving and will receive $15.75/hour, for a total of 10 paid hours per week.
