Warehouse/Shipping Coordinator

Local, family-owned logistics company founded in July of 2000. MAP Transportation began delivering auto parts for local dealerships throughout Minnesota. Since then, we have expanded our services to Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, and Louisiana. Our exponential has allowed us to extend our services to additional industries including medical, optical, documents deliver, floral, and warehouse logistical transportation and fulfillment solutions. MAP Transportation is currently seeking for a well-organized individual with Excellent Communication Skills, a Can-Do Attitude and Self-Motivated individual to join our team as our first shift Shipping Coordinator. This employment position is Full-Time Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm. ATTENDANCE IS A MUST!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Load docking trucks.

Help load and facilitate timely departure of drivers.

Unload trucks and sort orders.

Log returns for multiple customers

Set-up deliveries and return with LTL Companies

Identify deliveries that have been missed or left behind.

Document and prepare returns.

Maintain cleanliness of warehouse: garbage removal, mop, snow and ice removal.

Zamboni the warehouse floor.

Operate a Forklift (if not certified we will train!)

Back-up driver or as needed.

Vehicle and Equipment maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Able to lift 75 lbs. (+) as needed

Attendance is very important.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.

Must be reliable & Self-motivated

Must be able to pass security background check & have a clean driving record. Excellent work history and attendance is required.
