Automotive Technician (Fridley, MN)

Bona Bros. is looking for an Automotive Technician at our automotive and light-duty truck repair shop in Fridley, MN. Our shop repairs all makes and models, and specializes in aerial lift repairs, hydraulics, railroad equipment, and mobile truck cranes.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of trucks. Willing to train the right candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Knowledge of OEM diagnostic scan tools to analyze vehicle systems and troubleshoot issues

-Ability to communicate findings in a detailed and concise manner to shop service advisors

-Perform light and major repairs as well as preventive maintenance with efficiency according to manufacturer specifications

-Ensure all repairs are complete and accurate – test drives required

-Continuously learn new technical information and attend formal training

QUALIFICATIONS

-A minimum of 5 years experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles

-Eagerness to expand your knowledge base – this includes becoming proficient with a wide variety of OEM diagnostic equipment and scan tools

-Pass Drug Test

-DOT Inspector preferred (will send to class)

-Possess a team player attitude and a willingness to collaborate with other technicians on complex issues
