JOB DESCRIPTION: Order Management Specialist

FUNCTION: The Order Management Specialist is responsible for intake processing, tracking, and

managing customer orders from entry to delivery. This role ensures accuracy, timely fulfillment,

and communication across internal departments such as production, logistics, sales, and

customer service. This role will work closely with senior management until the person is trained

in.

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, day shift. Fridley MN location

DUTIES:

Process all incoming orders

Identify any discrepancies from customer order sheets to actual, report to management

Review order specifications for accuracy, including product configurations and

customizations

Track order status and proactively resolve any delays or discrepancies

Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards specific to roller

manufacturing

Support inventory control and planning teams by providing order forecasts

Manage the raw goods inventory and report discrepancies

DAILY WORK FUNCTIONS:

Oversee all incoming orders in a dynamic, time sensitive environment

Identify orders, enter into ERP system, then label the parts by job number, staging to

start production.

Route questions or issues (e.g., pricing discrepancies, late orders, lead-time issues) to

management.

Order Expediting – working with Shop leads to identify and keep orders moving/ rush

jobs.

Manage all inventory tasks, physical inventory, creating PO’s, ordering and receiving raw

materials.

Report any roadblocks to upper management as necessary.

Utilizes forklift to load and unload raw product as necessary.

Disassemble/Assemble roller as necessary

This role is about 50% office/order entry and 50% out on the production floor

RISK MANAGEMENT:

Use established safety practices in physical movement and mechanical lifting of merchandise to

protect the health and safety of personnel and property. Lifting and moving is 50lbs or greater.

Job requires exposure to temperature changes, shop with doors opening/closing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communicator and team-oriented problem solver

2+ years of experience in manufacturing, order processing, or ERP systems

Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop for manufacturing

High School diploma or GED or equivalent

Forklift experience a plus
