Tool Maker

General Pattern Co. is seeking a Tool/Mold/Die Designer to create Injection Molding Tooling. Qualified individuals will have 3 years of Tool Making/Designing experience using SolidWorks and CNC Machines.

Responsibilities and Requirements

-Use Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software (SolidWorks) to design aluminum tooling for Injection Molding.

-Able to develop tooling designs that support the manufacturability of products and customer specifications.

-Analyze operation sequences to optimize machine time and setup.

-Troubleshoot Tooling Issues.

-Build/Repair molds and dies using CNCs and other machining-related equipment.

-Organized, with a high sense of urgency, and strong attention to detail.

-Must be self-motivated and work effectively on projects with minimal direct supervision.

-Ability to independently organize and prioritize multiple duties.

-Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal).

-Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and agreeable to overtime.

-Able to lift 50+ lb.

-Able to stand, sit, walk, stoop, and bend.

-Able to use hands and fingers to reach and grasp.

-Experience in warehouse environments with moderate noise levels.
