About Us: As the anchor tenants of the Kenton House, a newly opened luxury apartment building on St. Paul’s Historic Grand Avenue, we own and operate two restaurant concepts, Saji-Ya Sushi & Japanese Kitchen and Emmett’s Public House. Re-opening its doors in November 2023 after construction was completed for the Kenton House, Saji-Ya is welcomed back as a re-imagined Japanese Kitchen after operating on Grand Avenue for over 40 years serving traditional Japanese fare and artisan sushi. Emmett’s Public House, opened in 2015, had established itself as a cozy local Irish pub. Since its reopening, our patrons have been delighted with elevated Irish and American fare, craft cocktails and a variety of local and Irish brews. Both restaurants operate as separate concepts but are owned and managed by one company, while sharing one kitchen, an Executive Chef, and realizing the benefits from the synergy of other shared assets and resources.
About the Role: The Sales Manager role is primarily responsible for growing revenue at both concepts through marketing, social media, promotions, and sales initiatives. The Sales Manager must also be a floor manager three to four days a week, and will be responsible for staff management, service delivery, and general restaurant operations, primarily on the Emmett’s Public House side.
