Caregiver/Companion for Seniors!

At Joyful Companions, our caregiving team serves to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Compassion and patience are the most important attributes for this role. We are a faith-based and non-medical agency that helps seniors remain independent, improve cognitive functions and assists with daily tasks.

What the job includes:

- Helping clients with memory loss, live a rewarding daily life

- Assisting clients with basic daily tasks, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry

- Being a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion

- Providing transportation for running errands, shopping, appointments and outings

- Being attentive to clients’ needs to alert necessary parties of any safety or health risks

What you need to be successful:

- Experience as a caregiver helpful but not required—we can train you

- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly

- Compassion for and interest in people from all walks of life

- Dependability and integrity

- Physical ability to complete the demands of the job

What you need to know:

- Must be 21 years of age to apply

- Must have a reliable vehicle, current driver’s license and auto insurance

- This is a part-time position, typically 12 – 18 hours/week

- We are looking for caregivers in the Twin Cities metro area
