Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role as a Sushi Chef at Flaminthai located in Minneapolis, MN. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing sushi and other Japanese dishes, ensuring the highest quality and freshness of ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Sushi Chef will also collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role

Extensive knowledge of sushi making techniques and Japanese cuisine

Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus
