Your Opportunity:Venture Solutions (a Taylor company) is actively seeking a talented and experiencedIT Project Manager to oversee a wide variety of projects from conceptual design through implementation. This critical position will be responsible for managing all aspects from project initiation through closing. Candidate will coordinate work performed by Product and Technology teams, DevOps, Infosec and Infrastructure teams, internal and external partners by defining project requirements and performing feasibility and needs assessments. Applicants need to exhibit excellent problem-solving and leadership skills, as well as a strong sense of ownership to steercomplexprojects to success. Project managers with Venture routinely manage large multifaceted projects that span multiple platforms, systems, companies and have significant impact to the larger organization. Responsibilities Include: Be accountable to the Project Sponsor for leading the successful delivery of a project according to measures of scope, time, cost & quality. Provide business and/or technical leadership as needed for successful conduct of the project Work with Sponsor and management to determine and acquire resources as needed. Manage team and individual deliverables ensuring they meet the defined timeline and quality Accurately determine, assign, track and manage project task, activity, documentation and time tracking per internal standards Manage and track assigned projects: This includes progress tracking, changes to scope, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Balance project scope/budget/timelines in accordance with requirements Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and executives Analyze project progress and mitigation plans and provide actionable feedback to streamline execution. Must be able to find creative ways to influence others to accomplish objectives in a timely manner Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or BA degree in a related field 3-5 years of IT project management experience Effective oral and written communication skills, interfacing with clients, software engineers, internal peers, vendors, management, and leadership. Solid organizational and time management skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking Able to work independently and prioritize multiple competing assignments appropriately to meet deadlines while adjusting to a rapidly changing environment Outstanding collaboration skills especially in cross-functional organization. Ability to facilitate cooperation across a wide variety of team members and project stakeholders Ability to deal with highly technical and complex projects Solid knowledge of project management methodology, tools and techniques Preferred Qualifications: Project management certification Degree in IT/IS, project management, business or engineering Experience in print industry Experience using JIRA to track deliverables and activities About Taylor Corporation One of the top five graphics communications companies in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
