Description Robert Half is partnering with a local firm in search of a Senior Accountant! This Senior Accountant opening is located in the Minneapolis, MN area and will offer you great experience, strong compensation, and an attractive benefits package. We are looking for a Senior Accountant who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the continued success of the firm.Candidates for this position should possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills. They should have at least three years of experience, along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Accreditations such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) are also preferred.Requirements Typical duties for this role include: Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances Preparing financial statements Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules Assisting with initial internal control evaluationsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
