Entry-level Check Resolution Associate

Description:Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Perform internal audits to ensure all work is being completed accuratelyReview each check to determine what department will receive themNote IIM and client system (if needed)Mail checks to correct address if appropriateMail checks to client for deposit to escrowRush payments to carriers when policy is in jeopardy of cancellationWork with other business units as neededFollow up on outstanding checks as neededWill involve pushing a mail cart to deliver checks certain times of the daySkills:communication and computer skills, problem solving, Microsoft excel, Attention to details, Excel, Data Entry, reconciliation, Accounting, Credits, mortgage industryAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVES:

Must be okay with working on-site 100% of the time Monday - Friday

1+ yr experience with data entry, accounting, the insurance or mortgage industry, or experience in a quality control role

Excel ( beginner to intermediate Excel)

NICE TO HAVES:-Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field of studySOFT SKILLS:-Someone who enjoys complex puzzles because they have to do a lot of critical thinking-They will have to make phone calls to carriers and agents so someone with good oral communication-They will have to do a lot of email correspondence so someone with good written communication-Attention to detail-Ability to adapt to change this role could evolve in the future-Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses timeefficiently.-Interpersonal skills—the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas andexhibits willingness to try new things.Experience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
