The 'Field Contractor Technology Enablement' Business Analyst, is responsible for partnering with Internal Business clients and Information Technology team to deliver business solutions. The responsibilities include aligning with business users to define and document business requirements and objectives. Work with the Information Technology department in the creation of Functional Documentation to meet business needs. Development and writing of Testing scenarios and Test case creation, Test Data and perform Test execution. The candidate will be engaged on the "Field Contractor Technology Enablement" project. The project is to enable electronic process to the contractor field workers with digital tools that provide a simplified and streamlined way to view and complete work with relevant, real-time information that enhances Consumers Energy's customer experience. Solutions include new and enhanced forms for field contractor workers. The project also includes bringing on all the field contractor units onto the SAP, Service Suite, and other existing cloud and/or platforms. Required to support the testing process throughout the project lifecycle; to develop test scripts/scenarios/ execute testing within. Integration between ABB and SAP. Required Skill Sets:

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP Work Management, including SAP work orders and Data management.
  • Experience with Mobile Work Management Applications like ABB Service Suite or similar vendor
  • 5+ years of strong experience writing requirements documentation
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) including ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical concepts to all audiences
  • Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language
  • Can effectively facilitate meetings, demonstrate brainstorming / consensus building skills, and interact with executive level stakeholders
  • Accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work
  • Ability to learn quickly and start productivity with limited timelines
  • Practical experience in gathering client requirements, personas, user stories, use cases, data mapping and data analysis
  • Prepare and design As-IS and TO-Be diagrams
  • Experience with Detailed knowledge of IT principles, methods, and practices in the assigned specialty area
  • Experience in working with complex and more stakeholder involvement projects
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Experience with field device usage and related software packages
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, technologies and understand business/functional requirements
  • Experience delivering Requirements and Functional documentation and procedures
  • Performed analysis using a variety of analytical methods
  • Proficiency in information and data management
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles, processes, and testing requirements
  • Maintain application configuration parameters and system related documentation
  • Support Project management functions by adherence to Risk, Issue, Change request and Defect tracking processes
  • In-depth knowledge of the specific application(s) and technologies supported
  • Experience with the following is a plus: ABB Service Suite 9.3, HP ALM, GPS, and Mobile Devices
  • Works with Training Lead to coordinate Training activities.
  • Analyzes/Identifies areas of risk and develops plans to minimize
  • Experience in Utility Industry is a bonus
